Welcome to Scotts Ridge Middle School, home of the Rockets! Located in Ridgefield, Connecticut, we serve about 500 students in the sixth through eighth grades.

Please take some time to get to know our school and our staff members. We have a wide variety of extracurricular activities available to our students, and we take pride in preparing our graduates for life in high school. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Please note that any parent volunteers, a parent attending a school function, or a parent entering the building for any reason must fill out this Google form on the day of their visit, or they will not be allowed into the building.

Principal's Message

Welcome to the Scotts Ridge Middle School website! We hope you will find our page to be a useful tool to explore. As a school, we strive to provide a nurturing environment where all members of our community feel valued, connected, and supported. Our core mantra states, “Nothing is more important than how we treat people.” We work diligently to live by that belief on a daily basis.

The tenets of our STAR program – Safety, Trust, Accountability & Respect – underscores the importance of our culture and climate. We are fortunate to have an incredibly dedicated staff who seek to motivate our students to become independent thinkers, foster resilience, and inspire hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
